Another indie band spotting in a television commercial for a major brand. This time New York’s Young Lords teamed up with Guinness to promote responsible drinking. The song featured is the title track to their new album, Rodeo Songs.

Saturn Outlook + Noah and The Whale [Bands and Brands]

I’ve been hearing more and more indie songs in commercials (and TV shows) lately, so being that we’ve decided that licensing music for commercials is not selling out, I thought I should call some attention to them.‚  Here’s Noah and The Whale’s “5 Years Time” featured in a commercial for the Saturn Outlook.
