Good Evening,
I am helping promote Robert Schwartzman of the band Rooney. He is going completely off the grid in terms of record labels and producing his own music. I was wondering if you would listen to his music and perhaps interview him for your blog?
His website is:
http://www.RobertSchwartzman.com

From his facebook page:
“I am promoting my album, Double Capricorn, completely independently and would love your guidance. If you are a journalist, blogger, writer of school articles, or anyone with a public voice, and if you’d like to interview me about my upcoming west coast tour or my album, I am here for you. You can email me questions at interview@robertschwartzman.com. Thank you. Talk to you soon.”

Sincerely,
Cassandra

Hi HearYa,

She’s traveled 7 continents, released 6 albums, remained unsigned for 30 years and made 2012 Grammy Awards history. Last week, Linda Chorney walked the Grammy red carpet as is the first completely independent, DIY artist to ever be nominated at the award’s show.
Linda’s self-produced “Emotional Jukebox” was nominated for Best Americana Album of 2012. Her nomination stirred up controversy, with some accusing her of gaming the system, while serving as a symbol of musical inspiration to others. Check out one of the album’s standout tracks, “Cherries,” here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAxuCGnfZIo

We’d love to send you a review copy “Emotional Jukebox” for your critique. Please respond with your shipping address and I will send you a copy of the album.

Best, Cash

Please check out our website for our music and video. We’re an Austin, TX indie/garage/punk, 3-piece band called Well-Dressed Thieves. We’ve been playing around for about 3 years. We’re looking for all the exposure we can get.

Hello there HearYa,

Your Blog has kept me going on some awesome music for some very awesome hours. I would like to thank you! My name is John Villadelgado and I am representing my Portland, Oregon based band Cunning Wolves. I would like to ask for your honest opinion about our music and what we are doing. We are currently doing an open mic tour along the west coast and just trying to get our music out there. We are basically doing everything on our own and we are in need of press to get us off the ground. Thank you for your time I will include links of our music, vids, etc. Hope to hear from you in any way!
