Sub Pop’s latest addition, Omni, is set to release their label debut on 11/1. The post-punk outfit from Atlanta sees Networker, their follow-up from 2017’s Multi-Task as a cleaner and certainly easier album to connect with. Here’s a little more on the track below.

On the band’s latest offering, “Courtesy Call,” Omni successfully ride the line of being able to pleasantly reference influences without mimicking. They venture into experimental Haruomi Hosono territory while still managing to sound like Thin Lizzy. Flood premiered the band’s new video for the track today and had this to say: “Courtesy Call” exemplifies the highs Omni achieves when Networker, a minimal post-punk album with guitars that trot rather than chug, tackles modern malaise with equal amounts dread and semi-subtle levity.”
