Lady Lamb the Beekeepers is 23 y/o Aly Spatro. Originally from Maine, she adopted the moniker when she started handing out her CDs for free. That way people wouldn’t know it was actually her on the free CD.
Since then she’s moved to Brooklyn and met up with producer Nadim Issa. Together they spent a good chunk of time putting together her debut Ripely Pine. Ripely Pine will be released on February 19th via Ba Da Bing Records. And I’m willing to go out on a limb and guess that she’ll be at SXSW this year.
