I am a horrible musician. I can’t even keep the beat and my wife routinely refers to me as The Jerk. Therefore, since I can’t do it I became a reviewer of music. I have always assume that the hard working people who handle the PR for the bands we review were also frustrated or horrible musicians – which is why they do what they do.
Alas, I met the front man for Leland Sundries when he was someone we dealt with on other bands. Turns out Nick Loss-Eaton is the exception to the rule I incorrectly created. Leland Sundries deliver a dusty brand of folk and Americana. They are going to be hitting the road to support their new release, The Foundry EP on February 21.

Being a horrible musician doesn’t mean being a horrible listener, it is balanced by being a good listener.
