Some guy* named Joe Pug has a new album coming out on April 24th. He seems to be somewhat talented* with a bright future. He’s going to be touring all over God’s green earth* in the coming months, including a stop at SxSW.

Joe Pug is incredible, I first saw him in 2009 when he opened for my hero Steve Earle at a show in New Braunfels, TX, we live in Minneapolis, but I was born and raised in Texas, so was thrilled to discover this incredible new talent. I’ve seen him every time he’s been in Minneapolis since and am proud to say we have become friends. He’s an incredible singer/songwriter, much like Steve Earle, and I look for many more years of great music from Joe. If you get a chance to see him, go. You won’t regret it.
