The Low Anthem “Ghost Woman Blues” on Letterman

by oz on January 13, 2011

The Low Anthem performed “Ghost Woman Blues” on Letterman last night. I’d like to meet the individual booking music on Letterman and buy them a cold IPA. Well done sir or ma’am.

The Low Anthem’s new album, Smart Flesh, will be out on February 22nd and we’re currently trying to craft an album review that will do it justice.

If you haven’t seen/heard it, check out our live session with The Low Anthem. It’s one of my favorites and we’re hoping for a follow up session at the first of March.

Saw these great performers in Montclair with Emmy Lou Harris. Hauntingly beautiful harmonies. Long may they run.

The Low Anthem’s instruments and sound are so different and interesting and pure. Love them. So talented. Best wishes to them.

Living here in Thailand, I don’t get Letterman & the internet connection is terrible…but…the great James Paine Harris of Iowa City & Prairie Lights Books turned me on to this…wonderful….

What an amazing experience it is to watch these incredible artists perform. I was able to witness them in person a few years ago at Mocha Mayas in Shelburne Falls, MA. I will never forget this night, great venue, great music, best coffee & beverages I’ve ever tasted!
