man, you fall way behind when you have a busy year. i only recognize a couple of these bands. i must say i listened to mostly old favorites this year (one which me, my brother and my best friend all got married). but that’s not a bad thing, either. for the past three or four years, i got so caught up in finding new bands that i neglected my old friends. let’s just say, every now and then it’s good to catch up.

I can’t wait for SXSW 2011! Hoping they add “Dirty Wormz” to the list before the list is complete!

DBTChicago – You are not alone. I recognized about a 3rd of the bands at best, but that’s pretty normal. SxSW covers so many genres it’s impossible to know all the bands. Just enjoy reading the band names. Mustard Pimp, for instance.

I just found something pretty cool. SXSW and Creative Allies are hosting an official SXSW 2011 t – shirt design contest this year and the winning shirt will be sold in festival merch stores. The winner also recieves $600 and a pass to see the official music showcases at this year’s festival. Sounds pretty sick to me. Definitely something to look into… Check out more here: http://bit.ly/ecqTQ9?utm_campaign=hearya

Howdy howdy!
Where be the updates with recent additions like Owen Pallett, Gayngs, et al.
Have I missed any hints on who might be showing up for a Hearya party this year?
Looking forward to SxSW!
Over.
