Nick Jaina and band hail from Portland, OR and first got on our radar when we premiered his first single, “Days In My Room.” Jaina is a writer and musician that released A Bird In The Opera House earlier this year and, in true Renaissance Man-style, is currently working on a ballet.
After falling in love with A Bird In The Opera House, we were ecstatic to have Jaina and crew in for a live session during their tour stop in Chicago. They shared five songs that feature Jaina’s blend of folk, jazz, and incredible songwriting. The band’s musicianship shines through in the videos.

Got to say I was blown away when listening to some tracks off his album but I really like this. Feel like I should be drinking a glass of cabernet and eating some smelly cheese.
“Another Kay Song”
Awesome song! Just an “easy-to-listen-to” song…definitely a great first impression to Nick Jaina.

“You Were So Good To Me”
I really like Nick Jaina! Song #2 and they don’t disappoint (so far). I can actually listen to them without looking for the FFWD/Skip button! =)
