Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros release “Home” [Music Video]

One of my favorite records from last year was Up From Below by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Woody put it eloquently in his review, saying that they make him want to “crap sunshine.” I wouldn’t advise doing that, because I’m sure it burns. They do put out great summertime music though.

Here’s their latest video for “Home.”

Is there a more creative and exciting band around? ES & TMZ just lift the spirits. I have reason to celebrate Thursday.

Thanks Oz for posting.

Hey Woody –
I sent this song to Rhonda a couple of weeks ago – doesn’t it just “sound” like her? Such a fun Johnny Cash kind of feel – like her dad might have been listening to it.

Yes, I can see this being blared at 1AM in Scituate. We’ll have to do it at 1PM show as well to work around your schedule.
