I’ll Take Out Your Ashes. A new song from The Low Anthem

by oz on May 11, 2010

The mandolin is a real nice addition to The Low Anthem. I can’t wait to hear more new stuff.

Watching this band is akin to a religious experience. In case you missed it, here are a few tracks recorded during our Lollapalooza live session with The Low Anthem. The video of the new song follows.

This new album is going to be stellar. I have heard about 4-5 tunes off this album and each one is better than the one prior.

For any Low Anthem fans, the mandolist /multi-instrumentalist is Mat “Twain” Davidson. He has new solo album out, three new tracks up at his solo site, (Twain):

Emmylou Harris in Nov for 10 dates.

Here’s a cool new video of Mat “Twain” Davidson of the Low Anthem
(the mandolinist/multi-instrumentalist, above)

He is performing his song “I’ll Be Fooled Again”, from his new solo
(Twain) album, “Love Is All Around”. This is from a surprise show
he did in Brooklyn during a break from Low Anthem/Emmylou Harris tour, (Union Hall, Nov. 2010.) Beautiful song.
