Ahhh…May in Chicago. Things are moving along here as scheduled – the Cubs have been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention, road construction is in full swing, and indie hipsters all over town are eeking out a few more weeks of being able to wear their raw selvedge skinny denim jean pants with minimal crotch sweat. It should be a great month overall – Cinco de Mayo, a bevy of Chicago shows (I’ll be at Josh Ritter and hopefully others), and one heckuva showing from Atlanta this month. (Editor’s note: Sorry for posting this a day after some of these shows occurred).
Is it just me, or has the music scene in Atlanta improved since Oz moved there? That guy is improving this country’s music scene, one city at a time. We all thank you – your jorts are in the mail.

I just didn’t like Megafaun when I saw them in San Francisco a few weeks back. I don’t like being negative, but I thought I would really like em based on the stuff I found on the internet. Just wasn’t feeling it.
I hope ferraby lionheart heads back out west soon
Hacienda tonight in SF, booya.
