The Hips came out of the studio this year with a legendary record that at times astounds the senses. Listen to Cheer Up Champ when you are low, and report back to me. I guarantee that you will be revived. Partake in the Dust and come away juiced to fight, or fuck, or tackle the world. Third Floor Story will literally engage your hipbones involuntarily. The sound quality on these sessions are top notch. Many kudos and congratulations, not to mention thankya's. I always preface every comment or review of the Hips with "the best band you've never heard of." It is an absolute shame that they are not more well-known. An incredible band with incredible songs and energy. I have been a fan since 1994 and have only seen them twice live b/c they so rarely play east. I hear ya!
