The mumlers song is awesome
The singer from Volcano sounds like Dave Matthews
“Say Yes” by Langorne Slim is real purty.
And the Leopold Canal song is effing GREAT. Reminds me of the Band, but not in a derivative way – in a, ‘lets make great, honest, down-to-earth beautiful music’ kind of way.

I love this site. I check it every week and I’m always so happy to hear new stuff.

I’ve heard the live version of Leopold Canal on your site a few times. The tone from everyone’s instruments mixed with that voice leap out of my speakers with such clarity. Beautiful.

That DDW session was a really a great one. I had a blast mixing it because the guys just played so well. I was also enjoying a newly acquired vintage EMT140 tube plate reverb around mix time. So I used that session to put it through the paces. Thanks for the kind words and support!
