The relocation is finally over and it was one helluva drive. 2,600 miles with a shaggy-ass dog, but had a safe to trip from California to Georgia with stops in Utah, Colorado and Kansas. My dog saw snow for the first time, I stayed with a pal in Boulder who has a pig from a merry-go-round in his living room, we drank several of the finest IPA’s in America (a final San Francisco tribute), and then a stop in Kansas to meet up with my wife and toddler at my parent’s house.

While I was commuting, we had The Mother Hips and AA Bondy in studio and Shirk gave me a preview of Joe Pug’s new album. He produced it and it is truly amazing. We’ll be back to our regular scheduled programming real soon and I’ll soon have coverage of a few live shows in the ATL.

Thanks to our Atlanta readers who have reached out over the past week, especially Jon from South City Kitchen. Looking forward to some fine country cuisine in the coming weeks.

Joe Pug is one of my favorite artists at the moment. I cannot wait for that album to drop.

Now that you’re in the ATL, you’ll have to try Terrapin Beer. The Terrapin Rye and the India Brown Ale are finer than frog hair.

Consider it done. Can I also say “finer than frog hair” now that I live here? That was unacceptable in the silicon valley.

Not only can you now say “finer than frog hair,” you can also ask someone if they are feeling froggy. If they answer yes, the proper response is, “Better jump.” But then you’d best be prepared to open up a can of whupass.
