this is cool and all, but the more bands do this, the more people will expect $2 downloads for all music, all the time and/or mentally devalue the worth of music and find themselves downloading illegally more.
i dont think so. having the album cost $1.99 for one day is a great way to get people to actually buy the album instead of stealing it, which is pretty much how everyone is getting there music now. No one is going to pay $15 for an album anymore, and with mp3 files they don’t have to cost that much.
