Both have released excellent records in 09, but this race goes to Handsome Furs and quite easily. Great live act…saw them at that fest on Division St. earlier this summer.

If I had read this question last year I would have answered Sunset Rubdown right away. Having seen Handsome Furs live a couple times this year it’s now a toss-up

I’m not really a fan of either but if forced to choose; I would go with the Furs. Alexei is pretty damn sexy and it works with the music.
