I leave town for a couple weeks for some R&R and come back to find all these shows I wanted to catch are sold to mofo OUT.
Well, at least I can say TGIF.

It blows my mind that Modest Mouse isn’t making it out to New York to tour for the new album. I guess I may have to make it out to Chicago instead.

I saw the Decemberists/Hearless Bastards last night in Toronto at the Kool Haus and I have to say the show was incredible! Lavender Diamond’s Becky Stark and My Brightest Diamond’s Shara Worden were on hand to deliver incredible lead vocals. Their stage presence was amazing.

Heartless Bastards also did very well – I think it was the first show on the tour.

The only “problem” with Modest Mouse is you never know which Brock you’re going to get–so it’s either an excellent show or a lackluster one.

i assume you have your tickets already to see Dan.
