I admittedly haven’t purchased or listened much yet, but early sampling indicates that Fanfarlo will appeal to Andrew Bird and Okkervil River enthusiasts. A few tracks also seem to have some Talking Heads influence. I’ll be buying shortly.

This is a fantastic album that is worth well more than $1.00 plus you get 5 bonus tracks with your purchase.
Just listened to this and really enjoyed it. The dude sounds a lot like a young David Byrne or that guy from Clap Your Hands who also sounds like David Byrne.
Agreed. This is so good I skipped my double-cheeseburger off the dollar menu. Now I am hungry. Damn you Fanfarlo. What the hell does Fanfarlo mean? It doesn’t mean double-cheese deliciousness. I can tell you that. And yes they do sound like CYH on the good album.
