The Low Anthem will release Oh My God, Charlie Darwin via Nonesuch Records on June 9th. The first track, “Charlie Darwin,” has been offered up for you to download. It’ll appeal most to fans of slow moving acoustic music a la Fleet Foxes.

They self-released the album a few months ago and it’s still available at indie record stores (at least around Boston). As expected they’ve pulled it off of emusic already.
Great record – not all as mellow as “Charlie Darwin”. “The Horizon is a Beltway” and “Champion Angel” rock. Good stuff
Got this one from their website late last year, great album. “OMGCD” is probably my favourite song on there. Make sure to check out the rerelease.
