We’ve been showing lots of love for The Deep Dark Woods this year, due mostly to their stellar release Winter Hours. We had the chance to see them live twice at SXSW 2009, once at our party and once at an all acoustic show at Threadgill’s. This video of the show just surfaced recently.

I’ve said it before but, damn I do love the way that Burke plays the guitar.
yeah, his guitar work seems so effortless and fits perfectly into this song…he’s fantastic.
I enjoyed watching this b/c only moments after this was shot, the lead singer walked in on me in the bathroom at Threadgills cursing myself out in the mirror for being so hungover. This really happened. I could feel him pass judgment on me….ahh, too much fun.
