Pickathon is now in its eleventh year, so okay…you may have heard of it. For those that haven’t, it packs a weekend full of great music and unique settings with multiple sets from each of the 35 bands on 6 different stages for three full days.

The fest is located outside of Portland, OR at Pendarvis Farm on over 80 acres of lush meadow and forested campgrounds with hiking, audience views of Mt. Hood, food and craft vendors and a beer garden. The event is being hosted from July 31st through August 2nd and the lineup is damn tasty. Click here for all the details and remember that Portland is just a cheap Southwest flight away.

WOW. I’m so there. Any excuse to visit my sister in Portland, really, but this just takes the cake.

I lived in Hood River in my middle school/early high school days (just down the Columbia River from P-town), so I’m going to try to make this one happen too. Can’t beat the setting.
