I get starstruck when I meet guys like Justin Townes Earle and I'm always surprised at how humble, nice and appreciative everyone is. I guess the only real "famous" asshole I've ever met is Johnny Bench. Contrary to what I had seen on the Baseball Bunch as a kid, that guy is a real prick. I'm expecting so much from it I'm not sure how the hell it'll meet my expectations. They seem like the most approachable band, when I saw them they hung outside their van/RV thing while fans got their pictures taken and knocked a few back with them. The funny thing was they used the same exit as we did so they had to wait like everyone else to out. James ended up standing next to me so I shook his hand, told him "great show" and he responds with "thank you sir". The dude called me sir. That concludes my long-winded story.
