And we’re back! It usually takes 4 days to recover from SXSW so while the cobwebs clear, I’ll post some videos and pics from our trip down in Austin. My camera skills are weak at best, so I apologize in advance for the jerking in most of my videos.
This was my first time seeing J. Tillman and it was a really nice set early in the day. Right after I shut off my camera Tillman took a sip of his Budweiser tall boy and asked the crowd, “Who wants to shotgun a beer on stage with me?”‚ Half of the crowd raised their hands, but the bar wasn’t into it. He quickly followed up with “Well, it’s still nice to see who was interested.”

Good one. He performed this one both times I saw him, though the first of those was plagued by horrible sound.
Love to see Tillman! I for one would have been on stage with my beer in no time… Thanks for the video, makes me wish I made the trip to Austin.
