The Devil Makes Three ready to release new album, SXSW dates [mp3, SXSW 2009]

San Francisco’s The Devil Makes Three will release Do Wrong Right on May 5th via Milan Records. Their press release describes the band perfectly.

Laced with elements of ragtime, country,‚  folk and rockabilly, the critically praised, drummer-less trio – consisting of guitarist/frontman Pete Bernhard, stand-up bassist Lucia Turino and‚  guitarist‚  Cooper McBean – brings‚  forth a genuine approach to acoustic music that is deeply steeped in‚  rhythm and alive with three part harmonies‚  which is pleasingly dissimilar to most other bands in modern music.

I’ll get more detailed with our SXSW updates as dates, times and venues get announced.

great band… too bad they somehow always find themselves on the east coast in early august..
i digress.

Oh, and do you think that ‘old no. 7’ will ever loose its novel appeal>?..really – aren’t there others to sing about? (personally a bigger fan of george dickle)

This was one of my favorite tracks of, when was this, last year?

Damn fine musicians, those cats. Didn’t know anything about ’em ’til this post, though. But now i do, and knowing is half the battle.
