If you listen to the lyrics, they sing about life's ups and downs and traveling the country in search of a decent living. I'm sure its a story that's close to their hearts (as well as most struggling artists). The song will resonate with a lot of people, given the uncertainty of jobs, housing, etc right now and I think the instrumentation and vocals suit the song's message perfectly. It's really really cool. There is just something lacking which unfortunately will make it completely forgettable a few months from now. Heart. Pedal steel, and a Hammond B3 can make anything sound nostalgic but they can't give it spirit. Which sucks, because I really like this group alot. It just seems like they are running through the motions of what a great alt-country tune should sound like. Anyhow, like I said before, this group and this song are very, very, cool!
