Actually, Bradford Cox's side project, Atlas Sound, released a wonderful album in 08 as well. Great work by you and Woody compiling the list. I saw Spiritualized at a festival and wasn't impressed. That experience kept me away from the album. My biggest regret is leaving off Will Quinlan and The Diviners. That is a phenomenal album that I completely overlooked. Other albums I like this year include Gringo Star, Frontier Ruckus, Wolf Parade, and I'm just now digging into Little Joy. Woody could have added another 50 to the list if given the chance. Starkey – I regret to say I’ve only listened to Frightened Rabbit off your list. For whatever reason, it just never left a memorable impression on me. Not that I didn't like it, it just never bowled me over. I actually liked their first effort better.
