eric you are correct — o’death is awesome. i will say this: if rankings were based on live acts, o’death easily rests in the top 5.
my prediction for the top 10 includes the dodos’ visiter at no. 4. those two dudes are breathtaking. without looking at the email i sent oz for my top 5 albums of ’08, i believe the dodos deserve the top spot.
either way, this web site is by far my favorite for music. i start off every day looking at it.

I have to admit that I’m a disappointed the Felice Bros. didn’t finish higher (lower?) on your list. When I first heard the CD I was literally (nope) blown away. I heard that we can expect a new album in early ’09.

I expect to see Justin Earle high (low?) in the Top 10 right…right?

OCMD – I checked out your list as well, and it looks like more overlap to come.

Leaving VanGaalen off of our list may have been another mistake in retrospect. I need to pick up that album – Willow Tree is such an incredible track.

You guys are putting up a great list; I’m glad that Dead Confederate, Jessica Lea Mayfield, and especially Left Lane Cruiser are included in the list.

I hope we can see Backyard Tire Fire and Stoney Clove Lane on the list.
