I’m a little pissed that I’ve never heard of A Night In The Box. It’s like tossing punk, blues, country, and rock and roll in a blender and hitting the chop button. Here’s a track off of their latest album, Write A Letter.

I was surprised how much I liked this. It’s kind of like if Jack White joined The black Keys. I found myself wanting them to let it back off the chain for the last part of the song, but all in all, really good.
pseudo–That’s a great call with a little De Stijl-era Whites Strips combined with Black Keys. Maybe a little bigger sound than White Stripes with better drums (now Meg White is gonna be after me) but Jack White styled vocals are uncanny. Really like the slide guitar and harmonizing vocals at various points throughout track. I’m hoping the rest of the album sounds similar as this one feels like a keeper.
