Yes they give Grammy’s for cover art but I doubt Neko’s will win. Just like she probably won’t ever win best female vocalist. The Grammy’s suck. Award shows would rather give trophy’s to game show winners like Carrie Underwear and Supermodels like Faith Hill than to honor a real singer like Neko Case or Maria McKee.
Some recent notable Grammy Album of the Year winners are The Dixie Chicks, Celine Dion, Rob Thomas, and Amy Winehouse. I’m not talking Single of the Year or Best Album Cover Art - I’M TALKING ALBUM OF THE YEAR, FOR THE LOVE OF PETE! Simply laughable. I laugh at that. Heartily.
