thoughts/reflections on CBGB? favorite(s)? surprises-both good and bad? new find(s)?
avett brothers live was a giant step away from their shop material. though i really liked them, i feel like they had to shout to pull people in. i’m glad i got to see them now as i have a feeling it will be more and more difficult to catch them in more intimate settings.
grisman and his quintet was DELIGHTFUL. what a treat to see them in this theater as well.
my rant about the fest are the people blabbering throughout performances.
thanks for teh tickets!
