Speaking of favorite songs of the 80’s, country music super group, The Highwaymen, put out my favorite song in 1985. The song “Highwayman” fueled my pre-pubescent career fantasies. I thought I’d for sure be either a sailor, starship pilot, or a dam builder. None of those came true, unless I missed a verse where Kris Kristofferson says, “I sit in a cubicle for 10 hours everyday, then at night I write a blog.”
This song remains one of my top 5 favorite songs of all time and this live video is freaking amazing. I’m so jealous of everyone in that crowd.

i hope you at last smacked a few Ohio’ans upside their heads while out there and got them to vote B.O.
That YOUTUBE clip (of Aljazeera interviewing in OH) of mass Ohio’ans ranting against B.O. and calling him a terroist and saying Palin has the holy spirit in her gives me shivers.
I actually heard my brother in-law say that he thinks Obama is a terrorist. I chuckled thinking he was kidding. He wasn’t and my only response was: “I always wondered who that propaganda worked on…”
There were lots of McCain-Palin signs in yards out there.
man OH man. shite part is i fear for B.O. ’s life if he gets elected…there are a lot of crazy mofo’s out there
On a side note, I like cranking Fortunate Son for the war mongers….
At least there’s one less McCain-Palin sign in someone’s yard in Pepper’s Pike as I ripped one off and stomped on it before throwing it in the trash last week.
(Back story: My parents still live in Georgia, and my mom was complaining how people kept stealing her Obama-Biden sign from the yard. Despite the obvious lack of class, I had to get even for my moms.)
