I’ve been hearing more and more indie songs in commercials (and TV shows) lately, so being that we’ve decided that licensing music for commercials is not selling out, I thought I should call some attention to them. Here’s Noah and The Whale’s “5 Years Time” featured in a commercial for the Saturn Outlook.

I think licensing is how a lot of indie bands are able to stick around with the strong lack of cd sales these days
