Feel as Good as a Boner Mix, Vol 2.

by That Guy on October 24, 2008

It’s been forever since my first Feel as Good as a Boner Mix, so I thought you might be ready for Volume 2. As discussed in Volume 1, the below mixture of music is very similar to a boner because 1) boners are free, just like this music, and 2) just like woodies, these songs will make you feel pretty dang nab good.

Quick tip (no pun intended): If you click play on the first song, the fancy little player will continue to play all the other songs for you. That way you don’t even need to take your eyes of the image above! Good day, Sir.

Damien Jurado – Gillian was a Horse

Okkervil River – Lost Coastlines

The Uglysuit – Chicago

Gringo Star – Come on Now

The Morning Benders – Mother and Child Reunion

Blitzen Trapper – Texaco

We’ve been molesting Blitzen Trapper lately over how much we love their new album, Furr. It’s high time we move on. Here’s an oldie but a goodie.)

Lambchop – Slipped Dissolved & Loosed

The Little Ones – Morning Tide

Glasvegas – Geraldine

Annuals – Sore

Commuter – Young Hearts

This is from the Karate Kid soundtrack. It’s probably been 20 years since you heard this song, if you were even alive back then. But it kicks ass, just like Daniel-sahn. And it makes you want to roll your socks, just like Daniel-sahn.

My Morning Jacket – Golden (Live)

For those that need a live MMJ fix since the October shows in Chicago got rescheduled. I heard Jim James broke his coccyx.

“Young Hearts” is tight! Love that lead guitar tone….reminds me of Saved By The Bell.

Hey guys, nice… you link to a MP3 from my site but you don’t give my site credit? That’s not a blog-happy, we are all in this together, spirit…
So give the love or stay away from my site……

Thank you.

PS – If I could have contacted you via email I wouldn’t have had to leave a negative comment…..

Blogger fury is funny. Whenever we see a major label mp3 posted elsewhere, we sometimes prefer to not draw attention to it as a courtesy to the source. I haven’t seen Glasvegas released by the label…

It also just so happens that we have a not so subtle Contact page on the site with multiple email addresses to reach us. At any rate, no issues with staying away from your site in the future.

Hi there. Glad you like the song from The Karate Kid, but please don’t hotlink to my mp3’s. If you like it, feel free to download it and host it on your own. Thanks.
