I mean reviewers have a purpose etc... But these guys write about music because they can't make it themselves. When they trash it, they are trashing their own forgotten four-track tapes they thought were genius but were turned down by Barsuk. When pitchfork accepted their writing, it was like getting signed to Matador in 95'. Let him have his moment of Bardo Pond fame while you guys make Crooked Rain'. The Airborne Toxic Event is a wonderful band full of really talented people... They put on a great live show and there acoustic work is Fantastic!!
