I have to say, I'm not crazy 'bout one of his songs used in the recent Cadillac commercial. I know the money is hard to pass up and it allows artists the means to work on other projects. It's just hard to see such tasteful music go mainstream commercial- but, I guess that's the world we live...

This is the most overdue "honor" of recent memory. Lord love the Keys and Lord love Dan and Patrick's outside work, too.

To say that I love Dan Auerbach's contributions to the musical landscape would be an understatement. But the thing that I truly love about him is in spite of the fact that he is obviously a very talented producer, he is not some sort of megalomaniac.

That was clearly obvious when he allowed another producer, Danger Mouse, to produce the Keys latest effort. To allow someone outside the norm and their typical genre was a true show sign of Dan & Patrick's genius as Attack & Release really showed some new tricks for the Akron boys.
