Aw, snap. Sub Pop just posted the title track from Blitzen Trapper’s upcoming release, Furr. Take a listen below. I love it and I promise you will too. The album is set to drop on September 23, their first record on the Sub Pop label (which can only mean great things). Mark your calendars and be careful not to put “Furr” on continuous repeat until then.

fyi: the black diamond heavies are playing saturday at the glenwood arts fest in rogers park and then playing at morseland (morse/sheridan) later that night. as a former ropa resident and still a faithful visitor, i plan to be there rocking out to the heavies. yow.
Great track. I’m glad they stripped out some of the noise that was present on most songs on Wild Mountain Nation. It’s good to hear the crisp vocals and acoustic.
BDH at a neighborhood street fest? Might want to warn the residents to keep the little ones indoors.
