Sunday MP3 Roundup, 8.17.08

by oz on August 17, 2008

Made some progress on HearYa’s new look last night. Hopefully you guys dig it. It’s still very much a work in progress, but I think it’s a step forward. Much less cluttered, less buggy, and easier to read than the old site.  I’m still working on adding some stuff over to the right (and that big ass advertisement space will go to better use in the coming days/weeks). If anyone has feedback, feel free to comment.

Here are the tracks from the past week…

The Gipsy Kings - Hotel California

Stoney Clove Lane - Chasing Rainbows

Stoney Clove Lane - Castles Fall

Noah and The Whale - 5 Years Time

And our live session with Leatherbag

Exclusive: Leatherbag - Here Comes Change (previously unreleased)

Exclusive: Leatherbag - It’s Over

Exclusive: Leatherbag - White Doves (featuring Danny Malone)

Some from the inbox (I’m pretty sure a few are duplicates from past roundups)…

Ezra Furman - We Should Fight

Electric Touch - Who Put the Fire Out

The Pack A.D. - Making Gestures

Bowery Boy Blue - Come Closer, Sisters

The New Year - The Company I Can Get

Cameron Latimer - Empty Saddle

Berry - Floundering

The Drones - Baby Squared

The Very Most - Good Fight Fighting

The Monolators - Hearts Going Steady

Check out his album “Love and Harm.” It’s perfect for Wilco fans who miss the early stuff.
