Albert Hammond, Jr. is releasing the follow up to the debut album, Yours to Keep on July 8th. The first single for the upcoming Como Te Llama? entitled “GfC” was released last week.
The Strokes guitarist turned bonafide soloist named three other songs as his favorites from the album. If “GfC” didn’t make his top three, then consider my calendar marked for the release date. Summer’s here, the sun is shining in Northern California, and “GfC” is the song playing in my car with the windows rolled down.

I like the track…. i wish the strokes would have used this beefier method of production. the drums sound big and live and the vocals while distorted sound clean and hot. i dont think the songwriting is super epic, but its a good track and ill def. check out the album. good review , thanks for putting the MP3 up.
