Here are the first batch of videos from SxSW 2008. We caught The Felice Brothers at Opal Divine’s on a small outdoor deck. Unfortunately the sun was setting behind the band, so I had trouble getting comfortable and couldn’t get a shot of the entire band without getting some serious glare (hence the shakiness).
The Felice Brothers mentioned that this set was was a nice reprieve from the official SxSW events. The crowd was small and mostly just fans having some cocktails and enjoying the late afternoon.

I should also mention that beer is served at SXSW. That doesn’t help the cinematography.
Its like watching Scorsese’s The Last Waltz, only different. Music sounds good though.
