I have a real nice treat for you this morning. London’s Alberta Cross has been kind enough to allow us to post their new EP, available only in the UK, for free to our readers for a limited time. The first two tracks are new to me and the last two are acoustic versions of songs from The Thief and the Heartbreaker. I’ve been finding it really hard to stop listening to the bluesy “Ramblin Home” and the acoustic version of “Known for Long.”
We hailed The Thief and the Heartbreaker as the best EP of 2007. You can read my review here.

Am I missing something? Why aren’t these guys more popular? I am dumbfounded.
That being said – the acoustic version of Known For Long moves me to tears. Unreal!!!!
This is indeed a treat.
Thank you!! And thanks to the band!! Great stuff!
Whoa… in that picture, the guy on the right looks like Ben from the Lashes…
This band is awesome. I saw them live not too long ago and they were even better in person (and I’m a huge fan of their cd, can’t stop listening to it!). If you have the chance to see them live you def should, and the cds are an essential. They have a great sound and unique style that I think a lot of people will enjoy.
this band is so talented its unreal. i love their smooth tracks, its so chill and i listen to them all the time. i wish they would come around town so i could see them live, i have a feelin it’d be insanely good. i heard they are touring with oasis, what an awesome ticket!
