If you’re throwing a party anytime soon, I have a band recommendation for you. The Young Dudes are a high energy, high volume act from Minneapolis band that relish in that Stooges-era garage rock sound of yesteryear.
Their debut album was released on Afternoon Records and it’s powered me through my last few New Years Resolution workouts. I couldn’t find any tour dates, but this is one act I’d like to see in person.
These guys sound like what Elvis Costello would sound like if he dropped acid and fell out of bed and landed on top of Shane MacGowan got up and played a kazoo. Listen at your own risk.
