Other than bumping into Vince Vaughan more times than seemed possible, the one thing I miss the most about Chicago are the street festivals. There’s great food, people by the masses, booze flowing like water, and incredible music all around.
Here’s JJ Grey and Mofro at the Wicker Park Festival on July 9th, 2007. If you haven’t had a chance to see these guys live, make sure you check them out next time they’re in your neck of the woods. They work their asses off, put on an unbelievable show, and make you feel like you’re long lost friends.
Here are a few of the live tracks from the Wicker Park Festival for those of you, like me, that couldn’t make it in person. Them crackers got soul.
