I had heard a few of his tracks online but I was mostly there to see Cold War Kids who were following Elvis. It took about 10 minutes of Elvis and I was hooked. What an amazing set he put on. Ash Wednesday was immediately downloaded upon my return and was played repeatedly for about a month. At SXSW, Elvis had to unwelcome slot of following an acoustic Pete Townsend.
