The Everybodyfields are fronted by Sam Quinn & Jill Andrews and completed by Josh Oliver and Tom Pryor, who provide just the right amount of pedal steel, guitar and keys to accompany these fantastic vocalists. Typically I am not one to judge a band on appearances, but Ms. Andrews is drop-dead gorgeous, every bit equal to her beautiful voice, and Quinn sports a wondrous set of Mutton Chops that would make any red-blooded man envious. The song slowly builds with wonderful harmonies ala The Avett Brothers with just a hint of the sound that makes me love O’Death so much. The song slowly descends into a bizarre little jam full of unique instrumentation before easing back into the harmonies that hooked you in the first place. After listening to “Lazy Suicide” on repeat for a couple of days, I downloaded Bury The Square the morning it came out. I was eager to see what else was in store.
