[...] This is the third release for The Everybodyfields and the first on Ramseur Records, home to The Avett Brothers. The Everybodyfields are fronted by Sam Quinn & Jill Andrews and completed by Josh Oliver and Tom Pryor, who provide just the right amount of pedal steel, guitar and keys to accompany these fantastic vocalists. Typically I am not one to judge a band on appearances, but Ms. Andrews is drop-dead gorgeous, every bit equal to her beautiful voice, and Quinn sports a wondrous set of Mutton Chops that would make any red-blooded man envious. I don’t know which makes me more excited. [...]

[...] I first heard “Lazy Suicide” by Megafaun and was immediately hooked. The song slowly builds with wonderful harmonies ala The Avett Brothers with just a hint of the sound that makes me love O’Death so much. The song slowly descends into a bizarre little jam full of unique instrumentation before easing back into the harmonies that hooked you in the first place. After listening to “Lazy Suicide” on repeat for a couple of days, I downloaded Bury The Square the morning it came out. I was eager to see what else was in store. [...]

I saw these guys on the side stage at Coachella and it was probably the one unheard of act that left an impression on me. Grabbed a couple of their older albums and looking forward to seeing them again in Denver in August.

Great album. Their back catalog is just as impressive, and the live show is incomparable.
