Woody recently compared The National’s latest release, Boxer, to Wilco’s Yankee Hotel Foxtrot saying that it will be the album to take them over the top. They were recently featured on AOL’s The Interface.

The National on The Interface

The set includes:

  • Mistaken for Strangers
  • Apartment Story
  • Slow Show
  • Start a War
  • Band Interview

While you’re over on the big boys’ site, you may also want to check out their Sessions with Wilco. It’s almost as polished as the HearYa sessions. Speaking of HearYa Sessions, the Illinois live session will be online tomorrow.

And finally, Spinner.com/AOL/The Interface/ (I still can’t figure out all their brand names) have put together 3×3 concert videos that include the Cold War Kids, Datarock, and the Klaxons. I started having SXSW 2007 flashbacks.

I urge you to check out the Datarock videos. Those guys make me proud to be half-Norwegian.
