An Indie Multimedia Search Tool

One of our readers (appears to be an independent developer, hence the title of this post) created a nice multimedia search tool that I tested out and love. I’m always scouring different websites for mp3’s and images to post on our little indie music blog and it can get pretty time consuming. Anything that makes my life easier is welcome with open arms.

His site allows you to search for a band (or image, video, etc) and then it brings up a list of search engines and relevant sites. You can click each link without retyping your search query and the tool displays the results on screen, without opening new windows. It’s perfect when you are browsing for mp3’s.

Here’s my Audio search for the Drive-By Truckers. Give it a whirl.
