I’ve been taking in a good amount of live music lately, and everywhere I turn I feel like I’m watching a drama or sit-com from the late 80′s or 90′s. Every indie artist looks like someone straight off the boob tube of my youth. So, I’ve decided to string together a few Indie Music Look-Alikes for your viewing pleasure.
It didn’t get much better than “Felicty” or “Perfect Strangers”, but it definitely got a lot better than “Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman”. Nevertheless, enjoy the staredown below. Look out Tiger Beat.

Ari Hest also looks a great deal like Rony Seikaly, but I’m guessing more people would recognize Cousin Larry’s cousin.
The Apples in Stereo’s Robert Schneider vs. “Felicity” star Ian Gomez (who played Javier Clemente Quintata for those scoring at home)
If you don’t think this is funny, I’d question whether or not you have a soul. God was smiling upon me when I found identical poses of these two.

Agreed. I never looked at Ari Hest like that, even when we reviewed his album, I was struggling for a metaphor to describe him physically. I wish I had thought of Balki/Bronson Pinchot.

Speaking of rony seikaly, have you ever seen his wife? Just do a Google Image search for his name and most of the results are pics of his wife. How he pulled that off I’ll never know.
