Sub Pop Records just announced the release of a new Shins Live session, available in iTunes. Sub Pop made a connection to Eric Johnson of the Fruit Bats, a band I’ve been a fan of but until now never written a word about. I didn’t understand the connection, but it did lead me to this batch of mp3′s – perfect Sunday morning music. Enjoy.

Eric Johnson is now in the Shins, at least for touring purposes.
This was really nice Saturday afternoon music as well.
Saturday, Sunday…there all the same when you take off a friday to hit Sonoma wineries. I’ve been in a two day haze.
