[...] I took a trip to Chicago about two weeks ago and had the pleasure of meeting up with some HearYa friends and one of our favorite unsigned bands, The Record Low, at Stephen Shirk’s studio on the city’s west side in Wicker Park. We first wrote about these guys back in February. It’s been a great experience hearing their early demos, then receiving their debut album Hear to Stay, now seeing them in the studio and drinking beers with them after.
[...] I’ll be at our first session in San Francisco tonight and we have an incredible group of artists collaborating. I’m going to keep their identities a secret (for now). Next Tuesday, I’ll be in Chicago meeting up with Woody for an acoustic session from our favorite unsigned band, The Record Low. If you are a band, represent a band, or are just a fan of a band that has either of these two cities on the tour schedule, let us know. More to come soon. [...]
